This is a poem I did for my english class. Had to choose any modern person/character and I chose an astronaut. It's called Space Nostalgia
There was a soaceman with a spacesuit.
He wore a cosmonaut helmet with rubber boots.
His travels and findings through the Milky Way,
Amazes tge nasses kuje a firework display.
His expedition through interstellar space,
Makes him nostalgic about the human race.
Everyday consumption of Space Paste Food Sticks,
Makes him nostalgic about his Cap'n Crunch Mix.
The long claustrophobic months in the craft,
Insanes the spaceman like a war draft..
The time has finally came,
For the spacecrew to make an aim.
"Next stop Earth" says the crew,
Anxious to taste some Chocolate Fondue.
I like it.
