Should I put braids in my daughter hair with added hair with beads at the end?

Shes only 2 but the reason for it is she has sandy brown hair that is very dry and I tried every product that really don't work and I want to put braids in her hair to help it grow and lock in the moisture not long braids, a good length for a 2 year old, and I want to put braids in her hair so I don't have to comb out her little afro everyday that I can't put in a ponytail
