I have a 2002 Pontiac Sunfire with a 2.2L. I just put a throttle body spacer and a cold air intake and I noticed an increase in acceleration. I want to put a header and catalytic converter performance increase will I notice most of the acceleration? will also hold the header on without modifications? I want to make sure I can beat my friend with his 2002 Chevy Silverado with a 4.8L. Its fast enough for the equipment.
If you've noticed the first mod you notince probably the second. But in my humble opinion, most people do not feel a 10 hp bump. What you see is a more raucous exhaust note, and you you feel more athletic. I think also beat your friend is not a collection feat ... Sorry.
