Glaze Spacer

I am tiling a small area above my shower. My problem is the region exceeds 13 1 / 2 inches tall. I wanted to use 4-inch tile. Even with 1 / 8 in spacers, there will always be around an inch to be tiled on the last row. I do not want to cut 1-inch tiles, it will look bad. Suggestions?
The only way to do this is to either find an appropriate balance or cut the tiles. Trim which is obvious. If you decide to cut the tiles, rent a wet saw.
