Leaf Clover
Posted on Sunday, December 7th, 2008 at 11:41 ami just found a 5 leaf clover in my yard. Does that mean i am lucky or extra lucky?
i have never found a 4 leaf clover but there it was (5 leaves) in my yard sticking out above the rest, like i was supposed to find it.
Sorry, it's probably not going to bring you the good luck you hoped for, but it is an interesting find none the less. I learned from an friend that collects them, that four leaf clovers (as well as the ones with more than three leaves) do tend to stand up a little higher. She showed me many of her albums of them and she had many 5, 6, 7 and 8 leaf clovers. She was however also very superstitions and told me that if you ever accidentally picked a three leaf, you had to spit on it and throw it down! 
I have found and pressed many four leaf clovers myself and also found my first five leaf just a few weeks ago. I press them and use them in craft projects.
