Can you use a curved earing as a fake lip piercing?

I have a silver curved earing that fits nicely and looks real but i was wondering if it is okay to use it as a fake lip ring because my dad wont let me get my lip pierced , please help thanks (:

Of course! As long as it's clean there's nothing wrong wit that. Be careful not to eat it, thbough!

I used a silver Captive Ball style earring as a fake lip piercing for a costume. That's the kind that instead of having a latch has a little ball that snaps in and out. It worked really well, you could try that too.
